What it is

Printable PDF kit with four slab-built espresso cup templates: Single Espresso (3 oz), Double Espresso (4 oz), Conic Espresso (4 oz), and Lungo (6 oz), plus a matching espresso saucer.

Beginner and intermediate slab builders building a small-format coffee service for espresso drinks.

How to use it

  • Print your chosen cup template at 100% scale on A4 or US Letter. Do not use Fit to Page.
  • Roll a slab to around 3 to 4 mm thick and let it stiffen.
  • Cut the pieces for your chosen cup and handle, and assemble using the photo instructions.
  • Attach the handle, dry slowly, bisque and glaze.

Finished sizes

Cup sizes range from 3 oz single espresso to 6 oz lungo. The saucer is sized to the espresso scales. Dimensions assume clay shrinkage of 10 to 13%.
