Hi, I'm Fran. FromFran is a small editorial project out of Brooklyn where I design slab-building template booklets for potters who work without a wheel. Every vessel starts as a flat pattern, drawn and tested by hand, and each booklet is printed, packed, and shipped from my studio.

My background is in graphic design and textiles, and a lot of the shapes I gravitate toward are rooted in Pre-Columbian forms from Chile, where part of my family is from. The booklets are my way of turning those references into something you can actually build with.

Collaborations

I'm always open to working with teachers, studios, and brands that want to use the booklets as part of a class, workshop, residency, or another kind of experience. If you have an idea in mind, I'd love to hear it.
