What this template is for

A collection of four slab-building bud vase templates: Espiga, Garza, Talle and Trompo. Each form is built from multiple clay sections to create a distinct sculptural silhouette, from tall and narrow to rounded and architectural.

Who it is for

For beginner and intermediate handbuilders who want to explore more sculptural slab-built forms without designing their own templates from scratch.

How to use it

  • Print the templates from the digital PDF, or use the pieces in the physical booklet.
  • Roll a slab to around 3 to 5 mm thick and let it stiffen.
  • Cut your slabs, build in alphabetical order, attach the base last.
  • Dry slowly, bisque, decorate and glaze.

How do I print these templates correctly?

Print at 100% scale or Actual Size on A4 or US Letter. Do not use Fit to Page or automatic scaling. Each vessel's sections are labeled to match its assembly sheet.
Do I need a pottery wheel?

No. All four vessels are built from flat slabs using the printed templates. No wheel, no throwing.
Which one should I start with?

Margarita is the most beginner friendly, then Fiera. Balaustre and Amélie are advanced, with more sections and handles to join. Build them in whatever order suits your confidence.
