A slab-built ceramic birdhouse designed to hang outside and be used. The entry hole is sized for wrens, chickadees, and small cavity-nesting birds. The form is built in sections: body, dome, base, hanger.

This template is designed for clay that shrinks 10–13%. Bird lovers recommend leaving the piece unglazed so it weathers naturally. If you decide to glaze it, go for earthy, muted tones.

No. This template is designed for slab building, so you can build the vase without a wheel.
How do I adjust this template for clay shrinkage?

You can scale your template when printing. Use your print settings to adjust from 100% to a lower or higher percentage. Templates are suitable for clay that shrinks around 10 to 13%.
