A full-bodied amphora with a rounded shoulder that draws down to a narrow foot, crowned by two upright handles cut with openwork. Calado means pierced or fretted, and the flowers, drops, and dots carved through each wing are what give the form its name. Around 40 cm tall before firing, it reads as both vessel and ornament.
