What it is

Printable PDF slab pottery template for an 8 oz cup with a flower-shaped handle and matching petal saucer. The set reads as one piece.

Who it is for

Beginner and intermediate slab builders who want a playful cup form that looks finished without being technically demanding. A gentle introduction to attaching curved handles.

How to use it

  1. Print the PDF at 100% scale on A4 or US Letter paper. Do not use Fit to Page or automatic scaling.
  2. Roll a slab to around 5 to 7 mm thick and let it stiffen to soft leather-hard.
  3. Cut out the cup body, base, flower handle, and petal saucer using the printed pieces as a stencil.
  4. Assemble the cup body first, score and slip the seam, then attach the base. Add the handle once the form is stable.
  5. Build the saucer on a flat board, let both pieces dry slowly under plastic, then bisque and glaze as normal.
