What it is

Printable PDF slab pottery template for a textured beaded cup. Two base options and two foot options let you build different finished looks from the same cup body.

Who it is for

Intermediate slab builders who already know how to score, slip, and assemble a cylinder, and want to push into surface decoration and foot detail.

How to use it

  1. Print the PDF at 100% scale on A4 or US Letter paper. Do not use Fit to Page or automatic scaling.
  2. Roll a slab to around 5 to 7 mm thick and apply the bead pattern before cutting. The included guidance walks through bead placement and tools.
  3. Let the slab stiffen to soft leather-hard, then cut the body, handle, base, and foot pieces.
  4. Assemble the body, score and slip the seam, and attach your chosen base. Add the foot next if you are building the elevated version.
  5. Attach the handle once the cup is stable, let the piece dry slowly under plastic, then bisque and glaze as normal.
